1. Agreement and scope
These Terms of Use govern your use of Shieldvexa: AI VPN & Cleaner (the “App”) and the informational website at shieldvexa.com. By using the App, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the App. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean the developer providing the App. Questions can be sent to support@shieldvexa.com. The Privacy Policy explains information handling and forms part of the information provided with this agreement.
2. Eligibility and responsible use
You must have the legal capacity to accept these Terms or obtain any parent or guardian involvement required by applicable law. Use the App only with devices, media, contacts, and accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for lawful use of a VPN in your location and for complying with the rules of services you access. Do not use the App for unauthorized access, abuse, unlawful distribution, infringement, or interference with another person’s privacy.
3. License to use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the applicable Apple Media Services terms and usage rules. The license does not transfer ownership of the App or its intellectual property. You may not resell the App, remove ownership notices, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits that activity notwithstanding this restriction.
4. VPN features and limitations
The VPN Proxy helps establish a connection through a selected server. Available locations, performance, compatibility, and access depend on service availability, your device, your network, destination services, and applicable restrictions. We do not guarantee access to every website, streaming service, region, or network. A VPN does not guarantee anonymity, prevent every form of tracking, protect a compromised device, or replace careful handling of credentials and personal information. You may need to authorize the VPN configuration through iOS before use.
5. Cleaning, compression, contacts, and Secret Folder
The App provides tools for storage overview, media cleaning, contact management, photo compression, and a Secret Folder as available in your version and plan. Review the items and proposed changes before confirming an action. Compression can change file size, quality, metadata, or format depending on the feature and settings. Estimated savings are not a guarantee of a specific result. Secret Folder content may also exist in Photos, other apps, Recently Deleted, or backups. Importing an item does not necessarily remove those other copies.
6. Your content, backups, and irreversible changes
You retain rights to your media and contacts. You are responsible for authorization to manage them and for maintaining appropriate backups before deleting, compressing, merging, replacing, or importing content. Uninstalling the App, resetting a device, or making a local deletion may affect your access to locally stored items. The developer cannot recover content it does not hold. If you are unsure about a proposed action, contact support before confirming an irreversible change.
7. Free access and paid features
The App may offer free functionality and optional paid subscriptions. The App’s purchase screen describes the features available under each offer, its price, billing period, and any eligibility conditions. Some features may require an active subscription. This website does not establish a particular plan, price, trial, or lifetime entitlement. Review the specific offer presented by Apple before confirming a purchase.
8. Subscription billing and renewal
Payments are charged to your Apple Account following confirmation through the App Store. Auto-renewable subscriptions continue for successive billing periods unless canceled in time through Apple’s subscription settings. Apple may process renewal during the 24 hours before the current period ends; manage cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid an unwanted next period, subject to the purchase terms and local rules shown to you. Uninstalling the App, stopping use, or sending us an email does not itself cancel an App Store subscription.
9. Trials, introductory offers, and price changes
A free trial or introductory offer exists only when it is explicitly shown in the purchase flow and you meet Apple’s eligibility conditions. If an offer converts to a paid subscription, the price and billing period are shown before you confirm. Cancel through Apple within the stated timeframe if you do not wish to continue. Unused trial time may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription where Apple’s rules provide for that result. Changes to prices, notifications, and any required consent are handled under Apple’s applicable processes and law.
10. Managing and restoring purchases
Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings under your Apple Account and Subscriptions, or through Apple’s subscription management page. A canceled subscription generally remains available until the end of its paid period unless Apple’s terms, a refund, or local rules provide otherwise. Where supported, use the App’s restore-purchases option with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Restoration verifies eligible entitlements; it does not restore locally deleted local media or contacts. Contact support if purchase access is not recognized.
11. Refund requests and Apple’s decision
Purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple under its terms and applicable consumer law. You can request a review at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot promise that a request will be approved or reverse an Apple decision. Access associated with a refunded purchase may be adjusted when Apple changes its entitlement status. Nothing in these Terms removes a mandatory right to a refund, withdrawal, remedy, or other consumer protection.
12. Purchase-consumption information for refund review
If you submit a request to Apple for a refund of an in-app purchase, we may provide Apple with relevant information about how that purchase was used to assist its assessment. Where available and relevant, this may include App usage duration, a pseudonymous account identifier, cumulative purchase amounts, and cumulative refunded amounts. An identifier described as anonymous may still be personal data; we treat it accordingly. Any disclosure is limited to the applicable refund-review purpose, follows Apple’s requirements and applicable law, and requires valid affirmative consent where required. Agreement to these Terms alone is not treated as a substitute for that consent. Private media, contacts, and Secret Folder content are not included. You may contact support to withdraw consent for future optional disclosures. Apple remains responsible for its refund decision, including if consent is withheld or withdrawn.
13. Network tests, permissions, and third parties
A network speed test reports measurements for the test conditions and is not a guarantee of future performance. Testing can consume network data and may be affected by mobile data charges. Certain tools require photo, contact, or VPN permissions, which you can manage in iOS Settings. Apple, VPN infrastructure, network operators, and destinations you visit have their own applicable terms and privacy practices. Third-party names and marks do not imply sponsorship or affiliation. The “AI” wording in the App name does not create a promise that the App provides antivirus scanning or performs every feature through an AI model.
14. Updates, changes, and availability
We may provide updates, maintenance, compatibility improvements, or changes to features. Some updates may be necessary for continued use on supported devices. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or third-party service, or indefinite support for every feature. Material changes affecting an existing paid entitlement will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the terms of the purchase. Where required, we will provide appropriate notice or remedies.
15. Prohibited conduct and termination
Do not interfere with the App, bypass purchase restrictions, introduce malicious code, exploit security weaknesses, or use the App for unlawful purposes. We may restrict a service or terminate a license for a material breach where legally permitted and proportionate. You may stop using the App at any time. Ending use does not automatically stop recurring billing or erase records that must lawfully be retained. Clauses that by their nature need to continue, including purchase obligations and applicable limitations, survive termination.
16. Warranties, liability, and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without promises beyond those expressly made or required by law. We do not warrant absolute security, guaranteed recovery, or the availability of third-party accounts. To the extent legally permitted, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from misuse, failures outside our reasonable control, or failure to back up important content. No exclusion applies where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer guarantees, fraud, or other non-excludable responsibility. These Terms do not limit remedies that your local law protects.
17. Apple-specific acknowledgments
This agreement is between you and the developer, not Apple. The developer, rather than Apple, is responsible for the App and its content, maintenance, and support as required by law. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple; Apple may refund the purchase price where applicable, and Apple has no other warranty obligation to the extent permitted by law. The developer is responsible for addressing legally valid claims concerning the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual property infringement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you upon your acceptance. Your use must comply with applicable third-party agreements, export rules, and sanctions requirements.
18. Disputes, changes, and contact
Contact support@shieldvexa.com first if you have a concern, and include enough non-sensitive detail to help us understand it. Applicable law determines the rights and forum available to you; these Terms do not require you to give up mandatory protections or a competent consumer forum. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent legally permitted. We may update these Terms and will provide notice or seek agreement when required for material changes. The effective date identifies this version. Support: support@shieldvexa.com.
